2. Form small groups and task each group or student with creating one of the following posters, or others based on student-generated ideas.
a) Good and Bad litter: Which litter is habitat, and which is rubbish?
b) Leave the leaves! Why organic litter is important.
c) Put your rubbish in the bin.
d) That’s my home: Why we should tread carefully in the bush and stay on paths.
3. Encourage students to make their posters eye catching by using colour, artwork and found objects. If possible, have them draft their posters first, seek feedback and corrections, then proceed with a good copy.
4. Share the completed posters with the class and display the best posters around the classroom or school.
